We are thrilled to announce the opening call for the first casting stage for our feature film, "Madness and Honey Days", by award-winning director Ahmed Yassin Al-Daradji.

Logline:

After cursing President Saddam Hussain on stage, theater actor Salem must convince the military court of his insanity to escape the death sentence. During the last months before Saddam’s fall, Salem is exiled to a psychiatric hospital in Baghdad where he will have to manage his sanity, while outside the execution is awaiting him if the doctor announces his recovery.

Roles Required:

Male: 27-35 years old
Female: 25-35 years old
Fluency in Iraqi Arabic is required for both roles.
