Using a real voice note sent by the artist to a friend, And then it got a bit weird depicts three performances by an actor as they recount their memory of the night. What begins as a recollection of a drunken night out soon turns dark, bringing into question notions of memory, repetition and doubt.

A hypnotically cinematic love letter flowing through time and generations. Director Chloe Abrahams probes raw questions her mother and grandmother have long brushed aside, tenderly untangling painful knots in her family's unspoken past.

The Taste of Mango

As students return to universities around the world, four British-Somali students talk about navigating one of Britain's most elite institutions: Cambridge University. Their identity is rooted in Somalinimo ('the essence of being Somali') and in this love letter to Somali culture, blackness, and Islam, they reflect on both belonging and marginalization.

Somalinimo

Through a confessional letter to a loved one, the lasting impacts of a mental illness on female fertility unfolds. As the fluidity of water and the body intertwine, the artist takes us on a journey towards healing as she enters into symbiosis with nature. Filmed in a Belgian nature reserve that overlooks on mass traffic coming in & out of the port of Antwerp, the film threads ecological & personal crises together. The reserve becomes synonyme of a womb, somewhat protected yet vulnerable to the ongoing impacts of climate change / outer world.
The film’s soundscape was created using a variety of field recordings, some using hydrophones.
