Peacemakers are those courageous individuals dedicated to breaking this chain.
Through the process of conflict resolution and dispute mediation, peacemakers engage participants in intensive workshops designed to dispel ignorance, destroy stereotypes and build basic human relationships. Some of the Peacemakers who will be included in this project are: Suzan Khatib, a Principal for a High School in Israel/Palestine, consisting of 1000 students, both Israeli and Palestinian descent; and Rha Goddess, a Hip Hop performer and conflict resolution facilitator whose Brooklyn, N.Y. based company is aimed at inner city teenagers, incarcerated adults/adolescents, and women who are single parents and heads of households. The difficulties, which they’ve experienced, often results in an internal conflict, that has manifestations in external displays of violence.

Cornelia Street Café: The Whole World Passes Through documents the daily life of a unique restaurant/bar/performance space, its place as the last bohemian enclave within what was once the quintessential bohemian community in the US—Greenwich Village, New York City—and its place in the hearts of countless habitués who think of it as home.

It captures the intertwining lives of the last of the original owners, Robin Hirsch, award-winning author, performer, self-styled Minister of Culture and Wine Czar, and of the thousands of celebrities and civilians from around the corner and around the world who pass through his doors.
