Inspired by Rumi's 13th century poem, "In Baghdad Dreaming of Cairo, In Cairo Dreaming of Baghdad," this photogrammetry animated short embarks on a captivating journey of a young wanderer's quest for fulfillment.

Status: funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Toronto Arts Council and Natural Sciences and the Engineering Research Council of Canada. Ready for dissemination December 2023. Seeking distribution, festival access.

Drama-thriller feature, 2026 

In rural America, three generations of Iranian women — a grandmother, mother, and daughter — grapple with their traumatic past, only to be entwined with the haunting myth of the Pari, the ancient origin of fairies, in a tale that blurs the lines between their reality and ancestral legends.

Status: development phase funded by Canada Arts Council. Currently on 2nd draft of script. Seeking Prairie-based companies for production partnership.

In this absurdist mockumentary, an Afrofuturist artist drops a truth bomb on police brutality, but his artwork becomes a major payday for a shady tech giant that’s all about capitalizing on social justice trends through knee-jerk virtue signaling, leaving their workplace cringeworthy AF.
