Alter Ego of our Member Experience Team

To Edit Existing Projects: Tap “Edit Projects” at the bottom of your portfolio. Click & drag the three lines next to a project to re-order projects in your portfolio. 

You can also edit a specific project by clicking into it, and selecting the three dots in the upper right corner. 

To Add New Projects: Tap the “Add Project” below your title to add new creative work. Add any project manually with an image or embedded video, or import projects from film databases. A project must be released in order to import from databases.

Manage Your Projects

Click on “Edit Profile” in the bottom right of your portfolio. 

Select Basic Info to edit your title, profile picture, availability and location. 

Select Detailed Profile to edit your About page. Update your bio, add affiliations, add press and personal links, or contact information. 

Make sure to click the teal “Save” button at the bottom of each section you update.

Find shortcuts to Portrait’s industry features in the side menu. Browse upcoming events and opportunities like grants and festival deadlines. Check out our Work of the Week program, which spotlights members’ work. 

Browse the Side Menu

Stay on top of the industry calendar in our Festivals, Awards & More section. You can find this section in the side menu, or at the top of
the Discover Tab (Search Icon 🔍). 

Scroll through upcoming or past festivals and awards. See which Portrait members are connected to the selected films. See who is planning to attend the fest in person. Introduce yourself to other attendees in the “Chat” tab. 

See full bios of filmmakers and attendees, set meetings, and promote your work.

Track Festivals, Awards & More

Stay up to date with recent job listings and upcoming deadlines for grants, fellowships, and festivals in our Opportunities section. 

Find the Opportunities section in the side menu, or at the bottom of the Discover Tab (Search Icon 🔍)

Discover Career Opportunities

From your portfolio, select “Contacts”, then “See Phone Contacts” to see who of your friends are already on Portrait. You can also access your contacts directly from the side menu. 

Sync contacts from your phone contacts and email address book. Invite industry friends to join you on the app on the “Invite to Portrait” tab.
