Motion Designer and Illustrator

My second project at CNN+ as a Motion Designer was a documentary called Taking on Taylor Swift, which was originally called The Taylor Swift Defense during my time at CNN+. The film dives into  Taylor Swift’s  copyright infringement lawsuit over her single "Shake It Off," and explore the long music industry history of pirating the work of Black artists.   

I had a lot of fun exploring the style at the early stage of the project. We chose a vibrant, pop color palette that allows for a glamorous and modern aesthetic. After making the styleframe, the senior motion designer joined me to create the GFX and MOGRTS for the film.
