My first independent documentary as both Director and DP, we followed Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Art Cullen and his family’s fight to unite and inform their Iowan farming community throughout their biweekly newspaper The Storm Lake Times – come hell or pandemic!  The Hollywood Reporter calls STORM LAKE: “an elegiac heartland portrait…colored by the hope of endurance, both for the newspaper and the community it represents.”

Generation Wealth is an extraordinary visual history of our country’s growing obsession with wealth. I shot the latter part of this film (Acts 3 & 4), as the stories were being woven together, following Lauren’s career as she documents how America exports its values: materialism, celebrity culture, and social status to every corner of the globe.

This was my second project working with Lauren Greenfield on an extraordinary look into the controversial political career of Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines. With unprecedented access to the Marcos family, we documented her opulent lifestyle, and we were present to film her and her family’s efforts to rehabilitate the family’s image and to return to political power.
